A Resume Writing Workshop
Wed Jul 19 2023 00:00:00 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time)
Please join the Iranian Engineers of BC Association (IEBCA) in an informative in-person presentation by Sidra Mobin from the Global Talent Loans Program of the Immigrant Services Society of BC (ISSofBC).
A good resume goes a long way as far as a job application is of concern. A resume is, in fact, a marketing tool for a job seeker. It is intended to make a favourable impression on a potential employer, and thus, its writing is very crucial in entering into a job interview stage and ultimately receiving a job offer. A resume is a brief written summary of a job seeker’s skills, employment history, education, and other related information. It should demonstrate how the applicant can incorporate their knowledge and skills into a specific position, and consequently, to the progress of the employer’s organization.
This workshop is intended for those who would like to explore ways to improve their resume, thus increasing their chance in job hunting. The workshop will be preceded by an information session about the Global Talent Loans Program of ISSofBC that will be presented by Katiba Raoof of ISSofBC.
