About Iranian Engineers of British Columbia Association (IEBCA)

The Iranian Engineers of British Columbia Association (IEBCA) was founded by a group of Iranian Engineers in October 2007 and incorporated under BC Society Act on January 16, 2009 as a "non-profit, non-religious, non-political, and independent professional organization".  A Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) has been signed between IEBCA and Engineering and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC,  formerly Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia) on February 6th, 2009.  IEBCA wholly recognizes the legislated mandate of EGBC and Architectural Institute of British Columbia (AIBC); and will not present itself, nor permit its members to represent it in any way that can lead the public to assume that any of the IEBCA's members is Professional Engineer, Architect or the like or members of EGBC or AIBC merely on the basis of being an IEBCA member, or that IEBCA is in any way responsible for the qualifications, certification or regulation of the architectural, engineering, or geoscience in British Columbia. In the meantime, this is a privilege for IEBCA that many of IEBCA members are also members of EGBC and AIBC.
