About the Speaker:
Homayoun Khatami is an experienced energy engineer and a P.Eng. Who has 21 years of experience in energy and related sectors. He is currently the project manager and technical lead at Stantec company working on several energy and sustainability projects across Canada. Site energy assessment, energy modeling, mechanical, electrical and controls systems optimization, carbon neutral and design recommendations, and systems commissioning are amongst the major deliverables in those projects. Homayoun is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Certified Passive House Designer (CPHD) and has completed over 60 energy audits and studies with significant savings in large commercial, residential and industrial facilities. He is the BC Hydro and Fortis BC approved energy service provider. Besides his engineering academic degree, Homayoun graduated in Bachelors and Masters in Economics.
