Jason Ong is the Director, Registration at Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC), based out of Burnaby. The Registration Department oversees the licensing process for applications for trainee status and professional registration. EGBC receives over 4000 applications per year from individuals applying for designations for the first time. In this role, Jason manages a team of 19 staff and oversees the coordination of a large number of volunteers comprised of engineering and geoscience practitioners who provide valuable contribution to different aspects of the qualifications process.
